Introduction to Lasers Course

Lasers have a wide range of indication scale in general dentistry. These indications vary according to the wavelength of the laser and each wavelength has specific interactions between tissues in oral cavity. Learning the advantages and disadvantages of using different dental lasers and their effects on different tissues will provide you an alternative way of thinking to treat your patients. 

Over the course of three hours, we inform the participants about how the various laser systems work and are applied. Using practical demonstrations, we show the different effects of different laser systems have on various types of tissues. A therapeutic overview of the individual wavelengths aims to help participants to decide on the appropriate system for their treatment emphasis.

*Aachen Dental Laser Center (AALZ) certificate will be given to participants in addition to CPD hours. To be rewarded with an AALZ certificate, participants need to successfully pass an exam which will be held immediately after the courses.
